THE TRAMP AT chaplin’s WORLD by grévin
IN THIS DEEPLY INSPIRING LOCATION, NOVAE MODELS ITS UNIQUE CATERING CONCEPT: DEVOTED CHEFS WHO PREPARE AND SERVE LOCAL AND EXCEPTIONAL PRODUCTS IN A VIRTUOUS ECOSYSTEM.
“It’s fantastic to arrive here every morning,” confides ‘the boss’ of the place, Alain M’Niquich. “The architect thought of each and every detail — photos, unusual objects, film sets… you dive right into Chaplin’s world.” Snacks can be enjoyed throughout the day and, from 11:00 AM onwards, the Chef offers a new menu daily with regional and seasonal dishes: salad “bowls,” traditional Vaudois cold cuts and charcuterie, Swiss cheeses, and sandwiches from the wood-burning oven, burgers, ramekins, and savory open-faced sandwiches… And on the sweet side, pastries or verrines filled with rich desserts.
As for wine, for an aperitif or to accompany your meal, a selection from nearby vineyards is offered. In summer, the large shaded terrace extends a friendly invitation to relax. With its name borrowed from one of Charlie Chaplin’s short films, THE TRAMP café-restaurant in Corsier (Vevey) welcomes visitors to the Chaplin’s World museum, as well as people in the area, 7 days a week. Good to know: it’s also available for events such as weddings, birthdays, or meetings.
